What standard fields does Clearbit write to?

By default, Clearbit will write to standard Salesforce fields if the standard field is 

  1. blank 
  2. has a [[unknown]] value - Clearbit recognizes this value as a blank field!

Mapping Standard Salesforce Fields

To add standard Salesforce fields to your Leads / Contacts / Accounts view, you'll want to have your team's Salesforce ADMIN map these fields via Edit Layout .

To map custom fields to your Leads / Contacts / Accounts view, you'll want to use a custom formula .

To overwrite fields that have existing data (i.e. bad/stale data), use a simple Process Builder workflow.
